Inspired by Nobel Prize Winner, Niels Ryberg Finsen, for his work contributing to the treatment of diseases using concentrated light radiation; "Cosmic Auras" is designed to act as a public light therapy lamp. These lamps are known to be used for enhancing moods. Constructed using LED screens, the installation projects gradients of light based on the different times of day; which will be referred to as auras. There are two color tones, cool and warm, where each tone reflects 4 auras. Both include a sunset and sunrise aura, however the cool tone has an additional daylight aura whereas the warm tone has an additional nighttime aura. Audio is played to enhance the environmental experience.
